So I try to keep this mail simple and short. Note: this is first preview! Although I could use it, there is probably whole bunch of bugs lurking and waiting. There is just too much information to quickly glance whether everything is working. I need more eye-balls for that. Yours! So again, be warned, what you see is not what you get and probably even less what you'd like to get. :) I created archives from onelist and egroups contents. First I did download all the available messages. Then I extracted useful information out from them (mainly available message headers, and body). Then I spent some time trying to invent good way to associate messages discussing same topic under one category. In the end I did strip my original ideas a little and current threading model just groups messages instead of making tree out of them. So feel free to surf back in time: http://www.topcities.com/Arts/bugathlon/lojban.html Contents are about 4000 messages and 10 MB (with indexes in HTML) so I had to search some place on web to put files - mailing list wasn't option. Badly needed favors: - constructive critics for look&feel, archive structure, wanted archive distributions (what to zip for download), etc. - find the bugs: erratical index creation, not founded message, empty messages, messages without some specific information - review from your own archives, that we are not: - missing messages - inventing 'em - changing their contents - stabile machine with some tens of megs harddisk, good connection to internet and some kind of unix as OS: archives should be updated regularly, and as automatically as possible. I'd like to have say SSH account to that machine for a while (to test and debug), and then software could be left there just running. Things to do: - egroups parsing bug - thread tree attempt - automatic archiving - automatic uploading to some page holder ===== - Bug Athlon, new insect processor __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
