Actually, his sentence is grammatically correct. {xlali} is the selbri of the main clause: le nu mi cusku bau la lojban kei cu xlali Both {kei} and {cu} are elidable there. {xlali lojban} is not grammatical, you can't modify a name with a brivla. I'm not sure I understand {o'a} there. I don't think his Lojban is bad, but if he he does, why feel proud about it? Maybe {o'anai} was meant? co'o mi'e xorxes
