Well, that seems to make sense, given that a number in front of a selbri would have to be tensed, IIRC. As I said, not being a mathematical type, I read the chapters on numbers in both the draft textbook and the refgram very quickly in order to get the minimum I need to get by. In fact the only regular use I make of Lojban numbers is starting letters to my parents with {coi redoi}. I suppose that's one of the nice things about the language - you can concentrate on the areas that interest you, and in cases like {ro lanzu} you can usually get by with the help of context. co'o mi'e robin.
