OK, I think I may have figured it out. The correct change was to:

   consonantal-syllable <- consonant syllabic &(consonantal-syllable /
!nucleus onset) (consonant &spaces)?

The only words that should remain in your list would be these, because they
don't consist of valid syllables:

artmozaiko
