Yes.  Classical music everywhere was written either for or under the patronage of the nobility. > > > > 3) ninzgi > > z1=n1 the pop music performed at/by z2 (event) > > There are many forms of music that have been new and innovative but > aren't classified as pop (e.g. glitch). I'm not crazy about this one either, and I hope someone suggests a better alternative. The justification for it is the fact that popular music doesn't last long. Yes, other forms of music an be new, but that should not be a problem. This is a lujvo, not the tanru {cnino zgike}.  Similarly, 'classical' music is written today (not much) usyally under the patronage of the state or public instututions.  Nonentheless, I think due to its origins, nolzgi still works. > > > > > 8) zgitro > > j1 conducts music z1 being performed by/at z2=j3 (event) > > from > > j1 jitro lonu z1 zgike z2=j3 > > I would prefer "zgigi'a" (zgike-gidva) (in fact, "conduct" is one of > the gloss words of "gidva"). > Good, I agree!
