There's one person who's stated he intends to get the gismu-maker working again, and quite a lot of people who have expressed dismay that jukni is so vast that it includes all arachnids and all crustaceans. Very recently, in fact, Pierre attempted to use the gismu-maker to specifically /get/ a gismu for crustacean. (I know this because I'm a member of the list he sent the "this isn't working, help me" message to. Pierre even said, earlier in this very conversation: "One reason I'd like to get the gismu making program working is to make an experimental gismu for "crustacean". I think that expanding "jukni" to include all arachnids was correct, but expanding it to all arthropods except insects was wrong. The other groups of arthropods, besides those three, are the myriapods (for which I coined the word "sortupcinki"), the other chelicerates (horseshoe crab, sea scorpion, and maybe sea spider), and the extinct trilobites." I do not remember anyone saying that they are against the creation of new gismu, although I would not be surprised if some people do object. I am willing to bet that even those most dead set against the creation of new gismu would concede that {jukni}'s unique case of extreme over-generalization is grounds for an exception, though. -- mu'o mi'e .aionys. .i.a'o.e'e ko klama le bende pe denpa bu --001485e770420f46b504907c9d1e Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
