Another similar-sounding word is "kuinke", which means "Seri" (a people of Mexico, or their language, which has no close relatives). So I think it's good, as long as we don't use it for vanjyjikru in general. > 2) vi'iski (whiskey) > English: whiskey > Chinese Mandarin: wēishìjì > Hindi: vhiskī  > Spanish: güisqui "uiski" has been in jbovlaste for years. "uiskyba" is not a valid word: because it contains "y" and a consonant cluster and ends in a vowel, it can only be a lujvo, and "ba" is too short to contain a rafsi. > 3) vo'odka (vodka) > English/Russian: vodka > Chinese Mandarin: fútèjiā > Hindi: vōdakā > Spanish: vodka I second Craig's "vo'otka" suggestion. > 4) campana (champagne) > English/French: champagne > Chinese Mandarin: xiāngbīn > Hindi: śaimpēna > Spanish: champaña I suggest "campania", as both "gn" in French and "ñ" in Spanish denote the palatal nasal. Hindi has such a sound (or at least Nagari has a letter for it); I guess they borrowed the word from English.
