Must the president come from the board? I note first that some past
presidents have not exercised much visible in-front-of-the-scenes
leadership. So if it's okay to treat the role as purely formal then it
doesn't really matter who holds it.

But if the president/vice-president should actively lead, should be on the
board, and should not be you or the Secretary or Treasurer, then I am at a
loss: I see no suitable candidates among me, Craig, Ali, Ark, Timo.
