Thank you for your confidence. My first two orders of business as Secretary=
/Treasurer will be:

1. Filing IRS Form 990, the non-profit organization tax return, due this co=
ming Friday, i.e. May 15
2. Preparing minutes for the 2014 Annual Meeting

If there is other Secretary/Treasurer business that requires my attention, =
please let me know.

Regarding the nominations, I'd like nominate lojbab to serve once again as =
President. Assuming that we adhere to the tradition of nominating a directo=
r to the remaining post, our pool for selecting a Vice President is:

	=95 Balandin, Arkadii
	=95 Daniel, Craig
	=95 Imami, Ali Sajid
	=95 Paulssen, Timo
	=95 Rosta, And

Gentlemen? Volunteers? Does it help if we make it clear that although this =
would be a good chance to understand what the role of President is about, a=
nd although we are in need of prospects, that there's no obligation to serv=
e later as President?

Incidentally, I note that of the six Vice Presidents that LLG has had, only=
 two -- John Cowan and Arnt Johansen -- have also, subsequently, served as =
President.

Perhaps the Vice President, particularly if they are not desirous of contin=
uing as President, could head up an effort to identify and/or recruit LLG m=
embers or members of the community at large for leadership. Which is to say=
, perhaps we could harness someone's desire not to hold office? Other ideas?
