Oh well and I should justify this. Indeed in the current epoch Lojban is
yet another "Basic/Simple English", not a language of science. The only
application of his jargon I can remember was in translation of one
science-pop episode in a comics series.

But seriously speaking Lojban can and should in my view become a bridge
between math and "normal" human languages. Therefore efforts by Curtis to
make new words are important.
If those words for math functions seem to be out of place that's the
problem of la jbovlaste.
I think those definitions must reside in a database like that of products
by Wolfram or in Sympy-like open source alternatives.

That some people view Lojban as an alternative of Esperanto should not in
my view shadow generic goals of LLG.
