la lojbab noted that once in a while I ask him about the history of Lojban,
why this or that was decided this or another way. Similarly, he noted that
one person asked about place structures on the mailing list and la lojbab
had to reply the same thing for yet another time.

So he suggested that I speak up about a place for FAQ and their answers.

Interesting that on the mailing list the topic of a place for FAQ is being
discussed.

Advantages:
1. It won't be hosted by LLG so we don't have to pay for anything.
2. It's known among programmers so instead of <100 people using Lojban
mailing list thousands of people will be able to use it.
3. It's a popular place in the US. Given that most learning materials are
in English it's perfectly fine.
4. It will prevent one from trying to delve into mailing list archives. The
site will have a clear Question-Answers structure with the possibility to
search for already given answers and to ask your own questions.

Disadvantages:
1. People from e.g. China don't use this site because ... roughly they have
another internet. It's not about StackExchange, it's about almost anything.
2. StackExchange has websites for other human languages like English,
Portuguese but mostly programmers use its websites. That's imo fine since
thousands of programmers is better than <100 people from various
backgrounds.


So here is my proposal.
Another option would be to continue editing mw.lojban.org wiki adding more
pages with questions-answers and making an index of all such pages.
