You're suggesting we try to gather > personal information about people interested in Lojban? I would consider this part of le rolnai lojbo bo nelci jikca. By the way, I have purchased the domain http://www.rlnj.org. The only reason I haven't set this up a social networking site already is that I have no skills as setting up servers or administering server software. It would be nice to have photos of ourselves to humanize the community and make us feel like we know each other, although I understand that some Lojbanists would prefer their physical appearance not come into it and I totally understand that. I know one guy who would feel self-conscious and a woman who is just too good looking and would rather go by a genderless pseudonym. We need to consolidate and disambiguate the various pseudonyms and identities that the lojbanists use so that we know who we're talking to. Interests, connections, skills, and motivations for participating in Lojban would be vital info for a project leader looking for volunteers. It could show a list of translated contributions and jboselkei rating, and a checklist of which lojbanic venues they like to participate in: chat, samxarmuj, jboselkei, voice calls, wiki, email, and so forth. Most importantly of all, it should offer them a list of projects to volunteer for as team members. As for the address and phone number, that could be held privately and securely if it is provided at all. -epkat
