No idea what to do here. I gather maybe he's offering me $32 to move the list, but, umm. Wow. You have to understand that I don't care about what anyone else thinks besides me. se'acai, I believe is the term. I suggest that you stop taking donations, if you want to keep your inflated ego. fa'o ----- End forwarded message ----- ----- Forwarded message from Ryan Keppel ----- Subject: Re: pe'i From: Ryan Keppel To: Robin Lee Powell Date: Sun, 29 Oct 2006 22:13:53 -0800 le'ocai $32 to create the list. Paypal might charge additional fees. You seem to have several mailing lists on your machine. Adding a new one should be trivial. It should also cost far less than $32. Do it soon or forfeit the money. Welcome to the real world, where people have to eat. Your friends at the Singularity Institute also seem to have problems with donations. A simple fact--if you don't want problems, don't accept donations! ko gerku .uu fe'o Quoting Robin Lee Powell : Wrapping English in "zoi" doesn't make you a Lojban speaker. I'd really rather not; it was a giant pain to move the main list, and you are the first person to have suggested that there's any need for it, and you still haven't told me what that need is. I'll ask the list, though, just out of curiousity. > Remember, I have given a lot of money. .gy. You're not very clear on the concept of a donation, are you? Even if your donation gave you the right to dictate what the LLG does, that wouldn't actually help here: I'm a volunteer for the LLG, I don't get paid for my time. I perform technical services for the LLG and the Lojban community as I see fit, at the times that I see fit. If you want to pay *me*, personally, to move the list, that would be something else, but again, I don't see the point. jbosnu seems to be doing just fine where it is. -Robin -- http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/ *** http://www.lojban.org/ Reason #237 To Learn Lojban: "Homonyms: Their Grate!"
