AFAIK, the books are all paid for, so everything we make on the books from now on is pure profit. We can set the price low, so as to spread Lojban more effectively, or we can set it a little bit higher, to make more money to make more books. Some thoughts to consider: * How low do we need to go to get significantly more sales? Matt mentioned < $30. * How low can we go before we get diminishing returns? * How low can we go before people start thinking: "Hey, why are they dumping this? Is 2nd ed. going to be so different that the 1st ed. is completely worthless?" * Cost of shipping. Unless another friend of Lojbab's is going to Michigan soon, we'll have to actually pay for the books to get into Matt's house. We have to set the price high enough to cover this, and then some. -- Arnt Richard Johansen http://arj.nvg.org/ Twinkle, twinkle little star I don't wonder what you are, For by spectroscopic ken, I know that you are hydrogen. --Ian Bush
