Robin seemed to want me to stay out of the fulfillment arena even after reporting that you were having problems, and seemed to think things were under control. All I see are some occasional complaints when books aren't reported as being shipped within Amazon's time limit - and I stopped asking you about those because Robin indicated that he was keeping track of the situation. I never had the impression that this was a high percentage of orders. > I don't have time to ship books consistently, I probably have the time, but the question is whether I can muster the self-discipline. I also suspect that you do a better job at the actual packing and shipping because you've done that sort of thing more than I have. My biggest problem these days is actually getting out of the house to mail things. > but even less time to manage a "check in, check out" system of who is > shipping books when. I had the impression that with amazon orders, THEY are managing such a system, since they complain when no one has reported having filled an order. -------- Would it be significantly helpful if you ONLY handled the amazon orders, and I took over handling any other orders that come in (which probably don't have as strict a deadline, and also aren't as closely monitored). (we could also do the reverse, with me handling amazon, and you doing the rest, but I suspect that if I could consistently satisfy amazon, I can probably keep up with all the orders). ------- The other option I suggested a few weeks ago to Robin, is that I take the mess over for a few months, in hopes that you can get the rest of your life more under control and could again handle the whole job. In any event, tell me how you think I can best help and I'll do my best. lojbab
