If that is the case, then I think we should wait for 1.2 for a POD offering. You give the impression that this probably won't be all that long, anyway. We may be able to identify a set of change-pages for the red book, or more likely to just issue a list of official errata that have been incorporated. We can add a note with link to the CLL order page on the web site >>Should we consider selling Kindle or other reader-formats, as >>well? No idea what the demand might be for these. > > If at all possible I would like to do so, yes; I believe this to be > easy with Lightning Source. We might want to consider putting 1.1 out in electronic formats. a) it lets us work out any problems with doing so independent of preparing other offerings b) it seems like it would be less a competition for our printed books, as for the otherwise-free online HTML version. c) we get some idea of the market in the absence of other alternatives, which can guide future decisions, since I assume that there are some costs in time/effort, and perhaps dollars, for each format/offering we make. But in all this, a major consideration must be how much extra workload it imposes on you to turn a draft into a product. -- Bob LeChevalier lojbab@lojban.org www.lojban.org President and Founder, The Logical Language Group, Inc. _______________________________________________ Llg-members mailing list Llg-members@lojban.org http://mail.lojban.org/mailman/listinfo/llg-members
