The 2012 annual meeting of the Logical Language Group, Inc, is called to 
order.

I've been heavily distracted by stuff going on in my personal life (Nora 
and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary, as well as the 20th 
anniversary of our kids' adoption, among other things), so this may be a 
little abrupt.  But we need to get through the Board elections by 
mid-November if possible, because the Board needs to elect/re-elect 
officers in time for me to submit the annual corporate filing due at the 
end of the month.

I call for all members to indicate their presence at the meeting.  If 
you see this message several days from now because you were out of town, 
please answer it anyway, so we know you showed up.

If someone is a non-member but is present on this list and wishes to 
become a member, please speak up and identify your presence and interest 
in membership.  Prospective members should have read the bylaws 
(available on lojban.org) and know what formal membership entails.

I would like someone to prepare a summary of last year's meeting, in 
lieu of formal minutes, which Robin feels are satisfied by the email 
record of the list.

Early in the meeting will be a call for reports from anyone who is 
leading a Lojban project or committee.  Such a report is especially 
important if you are seeking LLG organizational support.  You don't need 
to wait until I ask to post a report - just send it to this list.

As advance notice, one item is submitted for New Business - a discussion 
of what (if anything) will be done to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 
the public announcement of Lojban, which will be at the beginning of 
January.  There have been informal discussions, but as far as I know 
nothing definite has been set.

If there are other topics for discussion for Old or New Business, I ask 
people to let me know.
