The main obstacle is that CLL isn't a textbook for beginners, xorlo reform divert people from learning Lojban, Lojban for Beginners and "Wave Lessons" (a newer tutorial) aren't nice for many. The solution is beyond this topic. As for the Facebook group the number of member there (1855 as of November 2014) says nothing. Most of them were invited by me, they didn't do that on purpose.
