It wouldn't have helped in this case; our internet was off.

I've distributed my phone number to many people (including you, I
thought); someone could have just SMSed me.

For future reference: 650-296-8094 .  Getting paged in the middle of
the night is a completely normal part of my life.  As long as I am
paged *EXACTLY ONCE*, and it's for an actual outage, that's fine and
I probably won't complain much and you should ignore me if I do.  :)

In particular, if the site is down *and I'm not in IRC* for more
than 15 minutes, that is *absolutely* worth being paged over.

Please do not *call* my phone for lojban.org related things.
