Bogus, but if that's what we've got, then that's what we've got. I definitely prefer gray to blue. Is this still the text of the First Edition, or with the errors on the errata page corrected? (I assume it can't possibly be the Second Edition (dotside, xorlo, etc.) yet.) If we could make the jacket at least partly red, so much the better, so that the name "Red Book" wouldn't seem completely irrational.
