Yes, we are still having a meeting, even though I am highly distracted 
by a raft of health testing.

I was going to write more for the President's report, and I may still do 
so, but I won't hold up the meeting any longer waiting for it.

I can report that I met (face to face) with our Secretary/Treasurer 
Riley Martinez-Lynch (mukti).  He is now sharing the load of fulfilling 
book orders, and we were caught up and current until a new order came in 
today.  Also a few books were sent off to Amazon - not many, but perhaps 
enough to last the holidays, or at least until we can send more.

Let's move on to the next agenda item,which is new members.  Any 
visitors who wish to become members, please speak up now.  You should 
have read the Bylaws so you know what is expected of members (not much 
beyond meeting attendance).

If anyone wishes to propose someone as a member who is not already 
present, you may also speak up, and ideally you will also let that 
prospective member know, so he can then send email to the list or to 
mukti or me so as to be sure they are added to the list.

Americans have a major holiday this coming Thursday, and many will be 
traveling.  I will postpone voting on proposed members until next 
weekend.  We then face some discussion of a Bylaw amendment on officers 
followed by election of the Board of Directors for the coming year.
