She was also participant in one of the first "local groups" of people 
meeting face-to-face in order to learn and practice the language.

Karen has signed in as being present at this meeting.  She needs to 
indicate that she wants to again be a member.

I'll at this point call for any objection to her again being a member, 
and if there is no objection by the end of the day Monday 7 December, 
and she speaks up on her own behalf, then she will resume membership 
immediately and be eligible to vote on the impending bylaw amendment and 
Board elections, which I will talk about shortly.
