Indeed!  I apologize to all for my lack of diligence.  I've been dealing 
with a severe health issue (severe enough to have possible ramifications 
regarding my ability to serve the community).

Per my last posting. Karen Stein is welcomed back into membership in LLG.

I should have done this at that last posting, but I didn't, so:

If anyone is a non-member present at the meeting, who wishes to become a 
member, speak up now.  If there are any other proposals for membership 
of people who are NOT present at the meeting, please make that proposal 
now (and if possible, urge that person to become present by being added 
to the mailing list, and to speak up and announce their presence and 
desire to become a member when they've done so).

This call is open until the Board of directors election.

Before that election, we need to deal with one of the proposed bylaw 
amendments, regarding the role of the Virginia State representative, 
which could affect the Board election, since it would require me (the 
current representative) to run for office as a regular director rather 
than automatically gain directorship ex officio.

Since he is the one proposing this amendment, I call on Riley 
Martinez-Lynch (mukti) to repost the text of the proposed amendment, 
explain the proposal as needed, and lead the discussion.  As a bylaw 
amendment, this will require an actual vote (rather than being adopted 
by lack of objection).
