I've posted on that topic (my essay/presidents report at the start of 
the meeting), and urged others to also post (during my several weeks of 
silence and ill-health).

I'm less than satisfied with what others posted as far as addressing 
that topic, and far too few of the two dozen members posted anything at 
all.  It would be nice if more people wanted to talk about what LLG 
leadership should be and what we want/need/expect LLG to do (and what we 
personally are willing to contribute to actually doing it).

But that needs to be clearly separated from the Board election posting, 
and written (non-technically) for the members who are not particularly 
aware of what is currently being done, or how, or by whom.

I'm having trouble running the meeting, and people want it to move on 
(and get done before it is time to start the next meeting).  I made one 
post to try to respond to you and others who did address the topic of 
what LLG should be doing, if only to show that I at least had read what 
people said.  But we need to close that discussion, or at least mark it 
as distinctively not part of the regular order of the meeting, and get a 
Board elected.
