Please nominate anyone you think would make a good LLG member. LLG Members are members of a business organization. As such, their primary responsibility is to be available to vote on the actions of that organization as necessary. No skill in Lojban is required.[1] Personally, I'd love to see people who have organizational skills and ideas for how to grow interest in Lojban world-wide. We need to get to the election of the board very, very fast, so here's what were going to do: the vote technically stays open for one week (that is, until Tue Nov 22 22:00:00 UTC 2005), but we're going to move on to the election of the board in three days (i.e. after Fri Nov 18 22:00:00 UTC 2005). If someone who wants to be on the board speaks up after that, well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I'm sorry about all of this, but I've let things go too long and we have to have some paperwork into the Virginia government by the end of November (which I didn't realize until quite recently). Sorry. -Robin [1]: Those of you who have been around for a while will notice that this is a rather sharp reversal of my former stance. Having been the guy who runs the business for a couple of years now, it is Very Strongly my belief that the LLG should be purely a business entity. In fact, I'd like to see the LLG stripped to the board alone for conducting business matters and a seperate, non-corporate, Lojban activists organization develop, but I haven't had time to put together a proposal for that this year. -- http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/ *** http://www.lojban.org/ Reason #237 To Learn Lojban: "Homonyms: Their Grate!"
