You were previously nominated for membership, which is like being a stockholder in the LLG corporation. Now you've been nominated to sit on the board of directors. Your name gets put down on a piece of paper sent to the state of Virginia, you get on the magical top secret mailing list, and you get to vote on the officers of the corporation. (President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer) Consult the bylaws of the LLG [1] for the exact responsibilities. The nominations of Robin Lee Powell, Bob LeChevalier and Matt Arnold have been seconded. There will be a one week period for objections (or refusal of their nominations :) ) and then they're official. While I believe the board can be as small as one person, it can be as large as seven. For reference, the current board members are: Robin Lee Powell Nick Nicholas Jay Kominek (me) Bob LeChevalier John Cowan Charles Hope One member of the board must be a resident of Virginia. The officers of the corporation do not need to be board members. (Though it has always been the case with the LLG that they were.)
