It is grammatical to begin a bridi with "ije", but it is not grammatical to begin it with "e". There is no such distinction in English. There's a song that begins "And can it be"; I've often wondered why. The first sumti being connected is "lo pamu nanmu vi la mronautanxe". (IIRR Dead Man's Chest was an island, not a chest.) Pierre
