I have no idea where he got "Lojban has changed since Lojban for Beginners was written", but I'm sure it was someone discussing xorlo. I'm tired of trying to strive against this sort of thing. -Robin ----- Forwarded message from Danny ----- Subject: [lojban-beginners] Why not a new LfB text? From: Danny To: lojban-beginners@lojban.org Date: Tue, 16 Oct 2007 16:18:02 -0500 I've been trying to learn Lojban off and on for several years. I recently subscribed to this mailing list in an attempt to keep myself interested in the language. There was a discussion about a week ago about how Lojban has changed since Lojban for Beginners was written and I am curious as to why nobody has bothered to updated the material. After all, Lojban for Beginners is licensed under a Creative Commons license so anyone could fork it. Also, there is a Wikibook that badly needs attention at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Lojban and anyone who has a good understanding could contribute. ----- End forwarded message ----- -- Lojban Reason #17: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_buffalo Proud Supporter of the Singularity Institute - http://singinst.org/ http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/ *** http://www.lojban.org/
