So I'd like to suggest that the Directors consider whether it is in the interests of the LLG to enter into (nonprofit) arrangements with resellers, as I had offered. The upside is that hopefully a small community of resellers would ensure that CLL is available through mainstream channels at a decent price. The downside is that there'd be an extra round of shipping. The best option of all would be for LLG itself to act as an Amazon reseller, with the custodians of the unsold copies filling orders received via Amazon. ***** HOWEVER, only a few days ago did I discover that, as the world at large has known for years, Amazon is notorious for union-busting. So I rather regret encouraging LLG to send monies in the direction of the owners of Amazon. LLG's current position of shunning Amazon is probably the more ethical one. --And.
