No objection being noted, the 2007 minutes are considered approved. > I'm not especially satisfied with what has been reported on the Lojban > certification project, but I think Mark Shoulson, the remaining > appointed leader (since Matt has dropped his involvement) wasn't yet > signed in when I made the request for a report. Last call for nominations for the Board. We have 4 nominees. At least one more would be nice. We can do the election either as a motion to elect a slate, or as a quasi-secret ballot election (ballots are sent privately to two vote counters who are not nominees, and are not made public). We usually do the former. (Election would take a majority of members, of which there seem to be 19, so 10 votes, and we do need at least 3 directors.) **** The floor is open to a motion for either election of a slate, or for voting on the set of nominees. The motion should be seconded. **** The nominees who have been identified are Robin Powell, Robert LeChevalier (also serving ex officio as Virginia rep), Arnt Richard Johansen, and Timo Paulssen. > The actual Board election can thus be expected sometime in > the following week.
