I'm not sure that = "one more [than the current number]" would work
here. If the current num= ber is five, then "We need to recruit one more
[than five] people" would= mean that we need to recruit six people, and
"two more [than five] miss= ing children were found today" would mean
that seven missing children we= re found today.

You need "vei" to use a ME= X as a quantifier: "vei su'i pa da" / "vei
su'i pa prenu".
