That's correct, but in your original = sentence, {lo ponse be lo mruli po'o} means "one who has something= that is only a hammer" rather than "one who has only a hammer&qu= ot;, which is reflected in the Lojban be the presence, or absence in this c= ase, of {ku}. The difference arises from the fact that po'o is attachin= g to the selbri of the description sumti instead of the actual sumti itself= .=A0

In other words,=A0{.i lo nanmu po'o cu kakne} and {= .i lo nanmu ku po'o kakne} have (very) different meanings. In the forme= r, "Things that are only men are able", whereas in the latter &qu= ot;Only the men are able." In the former, it's the selbri {nanmu} = that is the only relevant selbri, whereas in the latter, it's the sumti= {lo nanmu} that is the only relevant sumti.
