I'd think the latter would be good because it means "X eats an apple". If I was trying to make an example sentence like "He ate th= e apple" and I had nothing to refer back to (so I couldn't use ri/ra/ru) wo= uld it make more sense to say "ko'a citka lo plise" or "da citka lo plise".=   I'd think the latter would be good because it means "X eats an apple= ".
