Yes, but you're not allowed to run them together into a string. > In oral speech these could be distinguished by terbasna And indeed they have to be. selbri (gismu, lujvo, fu'ivla) are accented on the penult (next-to-last syllable), so it is always clear where the word ends. And stressed cmavo may not be followed immediately by a brivla, so that "LOjboPREnu" can only mean "LOjbo PREnu" and never "LO jboPREnu" -- which would have to be either "lo jboPREnu" (unstressed cmavo) or "LO .jboPREnu" (mandatory pause). > what if they are allowed to be *written* together? You can't write a selbri together with a following cmavo. (I'm not sure whether you're allowed to write a *preceding* cmavo together.
