Right, {pe mi} can only attach to a sumti, not to a selbri.
You can say:

   la umal du le cmalu mlatu pe mi (= le mi cmalu mlatu)
   Oumma is the small cat of mine. 

or, if you prefer to say it with selbri, you could say:

   la umal cmalu mlatu gi'e memimoi
   Oumma is a small cat and is mine.

After {ki'u} you need a sumti, so {ki'u le nu mi klama ...}.

{na'o} is a valid sumti tcita too, so you could say:

   ko'a rinsa mi na'o lo'e nu mi klama le mi se xabju

although it is not as yet quite clear what the semantics of the
complement of no'a as sumti tcita should be.
