Doesn't "le kerfa be la .umal. bunre gi'e xekri gi'e grusi" mean
"Oumma's fur is brown and (it's) black and (it's) gray", with the additi= onal implication that the fur is all brown, all black, and all gray - a cont= radiction.  

Shouldn't the sentence have "joi" instead of "gi'e", thus:
