It's beyond me. If, as it seems, it was addressed to me, I should stress that I am not a lojban student at present. I'm interested in lojban as "a thing I know about," but (currently) not "a thing that I know." I'm here merely to get enough information to write a short story which, if I am lucky, will net me $180-$240. Even not counting lojban research (which I don't count because a lot of that research was just wandering through the references and dictionary for entertainment) has been probably about 14 hours), I've spent about 30 hours on it already, and I estimate that it will take me another 10-20 before I can try to sell it, 1-10 hours to sell it, and another 1-30 hours once I get a buyer. I'm interested in comments on my story and central concepts, but not enough to learn a new language to hear them. Translate that into English--or German or Spanish--and I'd be glad to hear it. -- From the Certified Mind of Ken Comer (never trust an uncertifiable brain) "I love America because they make great horror movies." -- an Iraqi citizen who disapproves of the occupation, but otherwise likes the USA (Source: AFP Fri Oct 31, 6:23 AM ET)
