Such things are rather grossly nonconformant (2822 specifies that header are ASCII; 2047 provides an encoding to support non-ASCII content, but the encoded content is always ASCII) and I regularly see logs of mail rejected for having such headers sent from the usual list-from address. I can't account for them as forgery spew, especially since most the forgeries I get do conform, and I've yet to see even one conformant forgery message from the list address. If it matters, I can probably arrange to capture an example the next time this occurs - just tell me what to do with it. /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse@rodents.montreal.qc.ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B
