I'm honestly not sure what happens to the double negative, but I'm sure both options are not what you want. I know that the ma'oste has "se mu'i nai' as "nevertheless"; everyone in the BPFK that has looked at that (and the related "mu'i nai" == "despite") has agreed that it's simply non-sensical. This page: http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Section%3A+Causation+sumtcita&bl discusses the BPFK view of "despite", therefore I suggest mi na citka .i to'e mu'i nai bo mi xagji -Robin -- http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/ *** http://www.lojban.org/ Reason #237 To Learn Lojban: "Homonyms: Their Grate!"
