You know, this shorter version of your name sounds like the English name/month "June". Not sure if you intended for it to have that association; I also probably wouldn't have brought it up if that weren't my middle name. ^_^ On 8/12/05, Servanto de Homaro wrote: > MA> I understood all of your English except for "I found a > MA> grammer and a grammer." And I understood > that non Japanese speakers don't understand this Japanesque > expression. Perhaps an equivalent English expression might be: " . . . but all I found in this book was grammar and more grammar," indicating rather a surplus thereof. :) I find most of your English perfectly understandable, and, honestly, quite entertaining, as few stiff and serious English speakers have such colorful usage. ^_^ The closest thing I've ever used to an expression like "educating" a database [understandable, but more common usage would have you say "writing entries for" a database/dictionary] has probably been "embezzling" pizza (rather than eating it). As far as bixies (such as ;_; and ^_^) go, you'll probably find many English-speaking internet users have adopted them for their very own--especially in the otaku-friendly communities. Perhaps, with your help, Lojbanistan will soon become one of them. (hentai in lojban, anyone?) mu'o mi'e noras.
