The problem is, you need a Lojban consonant cluster in order for it to be of gismu form. Distortions are inevitable in many cases, so you have to find some compromise between how it is pronounced, how it is written, etc. For it to have gismu form it has to be CVCCV or CCVCV. (C=consonant, V= vowel). {madia} by itself breaks as two cmavo forms: {ma dia}, so the question is, what is the closest you can get to it with what's available? (Also, cultural gismu all end in "o", that's why {madjo} was proposed.) mu'o mi'e xorxes
