That which is referred to in Wikipedia as a "stub" is something that blocks a hole or a breach in Wikipedia. It's a stop-gap measure. It's true that Yanis' nonce lujvo does not mean "something cut short or arrested in development", but "stop-gap" is another word which could be accurate for what the object is. Is it better to call it "something cut short or arrested in development" or "stop-gap"? One is the form and the other is the function. -epkat
