Yes, stress is relevant for brivla, but it is also irrelevant for cmavo. {MI'e} and {mi'E} are both allowed pronunciations of the same word. The question then is, is stress relevant for cmevla, as it is for brivla, or is it irrelevant for cmevla, as it is for cmavo? And my answer comes from examinig why it was made relevant for brivla and why it was made irrelevant for cmavo. It was made relevant for brivla because it is needed for the parse. It was made irrelevant for cmavo because it is not needed for the parse. For cmevla, stress is not needed for the parse either. So I conclude that cmevla are like cmavo in this respect. mu'o mi'e xorxes
