But I seem to remember an piece of text ascribed to somebody and that somebody adding on the wiki page that they weren't responsible for it at all. But that is ok on a wiki. My point was that in addition to a wiki, a regular website is needed to draw people in. Think of it as an auto showroom. Inside a well-managed showroom, you will get the opportunity to exchane views with professionals, get good advice - the "straight goods", back-up materials etc. But to get people in, you need an attractive storefront with shiny clean models, carefully postioned, changed with reasonable frequency, cleaned every day, and even advertising to ensure people get to see the storefront. mu'u mi'e .andrus. ----- Original Message ---- From: Colin Wright To: ANDREW PIEKARSKI Cc: lojban-beginners@lojban.org Sent: Monday, April 23, 2007 11:53:16 AM Subject: [lojban-beginners] Beginning Lojban and web sites. Hi Andrew, Thanks again for your replies in the "Constructive Comments" thread. I really appreciate the time you took to look at my page, and the comments you made. I'm thinking about them. I'm also gathering the discussion into a form better suited to following the discussion. I'll post about that when I've done it. In the meantime, you never replied to my question about your comment on the "necessary contradictions" on a wiki. Could you expand on that?
