I've been thinking more about this comment.  The English translations are, of
course, "tensed", and hence inaccurate.  For the sake of an introductory
puzzle, what do people think of replacing the "cu" with "ca" in the first six
cases?  Explaining about tense being optional, and "cu" being elidable, could
then wait, and perhaps be the subject of a subsequent puzzle page.
