When I said I was "a sucker for standards compliant documents" I  
meant that I like them -- probably more than the average person does,  
and without particularly concrete reasons (other than it's just the  
right way to do it.)

Looks like you got the encoding straightened out. But what's with the  
column of question marks after the Japanese?

This list is growing nicely in the other languages direction also.
