Dear friends, First of all, I'd like to thank all those who have contributed mp3 files for my e-learning site very much. I appreciate your care and help. I'm still amazed by the variety of these recordings. And I've decided to publish some of them on my site, at least temporarily. I've chosen the girl's voice that Matt provided earlier today (2) and Hans' voice (3). And you can also compare with my own recordings (1). Please visit http://www.sondal.net/ljb/ Lesson 1.1 The main purpose of this site is learning/teaching Lojban. And I would appreciate your views about the following (views from experienced speakers would be of particular interest to me): (1) Do you think the recordings are okay from a technical point of view (considering the background noise for instance)? (2) Do you think the variety of the pronunciations is an advantage or a disadvantage for a learner, i.e. is it interesting or rather confusing to listen to three different speakers? (3) If you had to choose between one of these three speakers which one would you choose? And why? Cheers, Martin
