I just did a simple text search for 'house' in the gismu list and {zdani} was the only match. But since the definition: x1 is a nest/house/lair/den/[home] of/for x2 uses 'nest' first, and since 'nest' is also the gloss word for {zdani} (the fifth column in the gismu list), I would take that as a strong reminder that {zdani} is not just for human houses, which is what prompted me to use {zdadi'u} for 'house' in my version of Goldilocks...
