No, clearly, because you basically just did it again. Try reading these: http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanb/documents/quotingguide.html http://www.html-faq.com/etiquette/?toppost There is actually an RFC on this subject. http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1855.html I quote from section 2.1.1 - Be brief without being overly terse. When replying to a message, include enough original material to be understood but no more. It is extremely bad form to simply reply to a message by including all the previous message: edit out all the irrelevant material. And from section 3.1.1 - If you are sending a reply to a message or a posting be sure you summarize the original at the top of the message, or include just enough text of the original to give a context ... do not include the entire original! What you do is up to you. You can quote entire messages and top-post if you like. Be aware that in communities where this is frowned upon, this makes long-standing members think very poorly of you. -- Dr C.D.Wright, Director of Innovation and Engineering Denbridge Marine Limited, Cammell Lairds Waterfront Park, Campbeltown Road, Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside, CH41 9HP.
