If you don't want to search through it, jbovlaste will search for you. Here's the page for melbi: http://jbovlaste.lojban.org//dict/melbi Note that "officialdata" created this word. That means it's official. There are also some non-official words in this dictionary. Lujvo (word compounds, to roughly translate) make up a lot of these non-official words. To search, click on "Search Preferred Words" on the side. Then click on [jbovlaste] to the right of the result to see more detail. I use jbovlaste and jbofi'e a lot for Lojban stuff. mu'o mi'e .aleks.
